Prof Matthew Thomas, Dr Nina Jenkins and Dr Giovani Bellicanta

Dr Nina Jenkins is the CEO of ConidioTec and handles regulatory, customer liaison, distribution and advises on product development, production and quality control in collaboration with Giovani Bellicanta.  Dr Jenkins has worked on biopesticide development for over 20 years, having been a key member of the research team that developed the commercial biopesticide Green Muscle for locust and grasshopper control in Africa.  As program manager in the final phase of the Green Muscle project, Dr Jenkins handled technology transfer and licensing of the technology to Biological Control Products Pty. South Africa, now owned by BASF.

Dr Giovani Bellicanta is head of product development and production (manufacturing).  Having previously managed the fungal production plant for Itaforte, the largest biopesticide producer in Brazil, Dr Giovani is ideally qualified to oversee the design and day-to day running of the ConidioTec formulation facility. 

Prof Matthew Thomas has over 25 years experience in biopesticide research and currently heads up multiple research programs related to biopesticides for different insect pests at Penn State.   Prof. Thomas acts as chief scientific advisor and coordinates the introduction of new target pests and markets emerging from his research group.

Mr Stuart Fain (not pictured) is the President of Owl Pest Prevention, one of the largest independent pest control companies in the Maryland/DC area.  Mr Fain is a specialist in bed bug remediation and key advisor to the ConidioTec team.
